Hot Dog!
Happy Year of the FIRE Dog to all of my friends!
Last night the New England contingent of bloggers gathered at our place to celebrate. We had a great time. How wonderful it is to be with a group of people who know exactly what you're going through. Amy brought the appetizer - her daughter Ruby who I just wanted to devour! We were also graced by the presence and wonderful food of The Sparky's, The Murphy's, Carrie and David (check out their son Alex's "mean brother" signs, they are hilarious), and a beaming Deberoo and her hubby S.. Who arrived with three referral photos of their gorgeous daughter, rec'd 3 days ago. Referral photos. In my house! Live! What a feeling to see them and hold them. The Sparky's and us are next on deck for our referral...weeeeeeeee!
Off to the microwave to nuke last night's yummy leftovers......
P.S., I read somewhere to not wash your hair on CNY because you will wash your luck away. And if you already put that bottle of Bumble and Bumble to your head...Do. Not. Cry! Supposedly you will cry for the rest of the year. (ummm...that's pretty much guaranteed whether I wash my hair or not today)

Lisa, thanks again for inviting us! I wish Ruby hadn't been so cranky towards the end, I would've loved to stay longer! We'll have to get together again soon since at first, it was obvious to me that Ruby was developing a little crush on your hubby! ;) hee hee

Ok, I KNOW I washed my hair yesterday. Yikes! Now I am trying to remember if I cried yesterday. :)
Crap! I washed my hair! I went to a Chinese New Year Yum Cha brunch - does that mean i"ll be eating all year?!!! Oh no! And I thought I'd lose some weight this year!!!
